Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa has free roaming peacocks around the resort. It is not like your normal cats and dogs roaming your house, they catch your attention right away. You just can’t ignore them.
I just checked out from SOFITEL SINGAPORE SENTOSA RESORT & SPA today. It is a french hotel. I had the most amazing weekend stay at this resort, I would love to go back again anytime. I was there for a company retreat.
By the way, I am not paid to advertise for them. But I was just amazed by the services, attentive to details, and pro-activeness that I am lost for words. They truely make you feel like a king or Queen for a day. If only, all companies can match such services ….
Checking in was simple. I was told we can get complimentary drinks at the bar (I did not try this, as my room is ready and I am anxious to go to my room).
Our room is like a work of ARTS, there are so many art pieces that I am worried if I will break them.
Right outside the room, there is patio if you would like a cup of tea and relax.
They offer complimentary TWG teas and capsule coffee with Coffee Maker. This is high-class tea …..
What’s so special then? We asked for extra bath towels and pillows. The guest attendant saw our kids, surprised us by bringing us an extra bed. Then another guest attendant came along and ask if we need anything else and offered us a small plate of Kueh Lapis.
We asked for some milk for our TWG tea, they gave a full small jar of cold milk. (Usually most places will just give you half a small jar).

During my Company retreat, the attentiveness of the attendants to details was superb. Even though one small area outside our meeting room was dripping due to the heavy rain, we still have no complains. The toilets play french music throughout ….
We have nothing to pick at the services at their restaurants, the cooks and service attendants are very attentive to details. Our only grouse is perhaps, the quality of food (dinner and breakfast) could have been better.
Another highlight is the complimentary open space fish spa. Besides the red cushion seats by the pool side, they have blue towers for you to wipe your feet when you are done. When we first try out, it was so itchy when the fishes bite us that we kept giggling non-stop. But we turn PRO quickly. We had such a great time dipping our feet that we forgot the existence of the swimming pool next to it. Our feet feel so smooth after “feeding” ourselves to the fishes.

There is free half-hourly free shuttle from Hotel lobby to Vivocity.
It is Halloween celebration these few days, the scary deco spices up new lease of life here.
I also spent much time hunting for peacocks around the resort with my small child who is fascinated by the animal. This makes great exercise for me.
In the end, I did not bother to take strolls to the beach or walk around Sentosa, I am happy to stay inside the resort.
This is a great weekend retreat and get away!
